applicants must provide a flight itinerary and hotel reservation. Details on our

No Checks!
The Houston Chinese Consulate now accepts
money orders only for payment of all Consulate fees. No personal,
company, or "certified" checks will be accepted.
Upcoming Holidays
MyChinaDocs will be closed on Friday, August 22, 2008.
MyChinaDocs and all Houston Consulates will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, 2008
in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Earthquake Relief
On Monday, May 12th, a devastating earthquake
struck China's Sichuan Province in the mountain region west of Chengdu city.
Quite a few orphanages are in the area struck by the quake and are in urgent
need of basic supplies. Many children lost their parents in the quake.
While some will be sheltered and adopted by relatives, others will be placed
in the orphanages.
If you would like to help with a financial
gift to support the children in these orphanages, our friends at Our
Chinese Daughters Foundation (OCDF) have started a relief fund to
